Isla Tortuga

This little island is in the gulf of Nicoya , near Puntarenas. Here you can try the best tropical fruits and enjoy live music on the boat. Seagulls will accompany you on the trip to the island. On the island you can play beach volleyball, swim, take a canoe trip or just relax on the white sandy beach.

Prices

To go to Isla Tortuga is expensive. You can take a tour, which includes transportation from San Jose and the boat trip to Isla Tortuga, US$70,-. Unfortunately it is not possible to go to Puntarenas first and then take a boat to Isla Tortuga on your own, because a private company arranges the tours.
