Cahuita national park
Cahuita's pristine beach is part of the national park,
as is the coral reef with its varieties of fish. This
is the perfect spot for snorkeling, diving and surfing.
You can also visit the indigenous reserves, rent bikes
or go horseback riding. This town is as laid back as you
can get, even for the Caribbean.
Puerto Viejo
Puerto Viejo beach is located southeast of Puerto Limón.
This black sand beach is a great attraction for divers,
because of its coral reef. Puerto Viejo is good for sun
bathing, swimming, diving, surfing, biking trips along
the town and the beach, and eating caribbean food such
as rice and beans, and party.

Prices
It will take you about 4 hours to go to Cahuita by public
bus and the price is about US$4,-. The trip to Puerto
Viejo is 4 ½ hours and will cost you about US$5,-.
